Product Description Designed for pocket-hole systems, Kreg pocket-hole screws increase the strength of a pocket-hole joint. Cut-thread pattern prevents splitting. Coarse thread is for any combination of softwoods, plywood, and composites, and fine is for hardwoods.
Amazon.com Product Description The Kreg 1-1/4-Inch No. 7 Fine Pocket Hole Screws with Pan-Head is ideal for 3/4-inch thick hardwood work pieces. The washer head prevents overdriving in pocket bottoms, which is especially critical in composite and plywood work pieces. The self-tapping type 17 auger tip eliminates the need to predrill, and its larger diameter steel shank creates a nearly unbreakable screw. The bronze-colored finish and dry-lubricant coating improves driving torque and rust resistance. This pack includes 1,000 hole screws.

Do yourself a favor March 10, 2006 Gary Strothenke (Adirondacks, NY) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Don't buy the generic brand (or any other brand for that matter) of Pocket Hole screws. I've been there and have been greatly disapointed. Kreg screws are the best quality on the market and WELL worth the little extra cost. They are stronger and better in all aspects. I've used the Kreg Jig for about 7 years now and have tried the rest in an attempt to 'save a buck'. I'm trying to save you the trouble.
If you don't have the Kreg Jig - Get one! Its one of the most used tools in my shop. I would highly recommend it to the most experienced cabinet maker and to the home woodworking enthusiast. You will thank me.
Great product for pocket holes! July 3, 2007 David James (Northville, Michigan) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I use these screws to build face frames, cabinets, and boxes from hardwood (maple, oak, etc) and they work great. I have never had a piece of wood split from driving the screws in, due to the drill-points. And they work perfectly with the pocket hole jig. Highly recommended.
They're nice October 7, 2006 W. Anger (Austin, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm on my 50th or so pocket hole and gaining much confidence as I go along. These screws are top notch, receiving all the torque the square drive can delivery. Highly recomended product.
inexpensive and effective June 26, 2006 James Kehoe (Western Massachusetts) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
inexpensive and effective. Much cheaper than buying at the local woodworking store.
Kreg SML-F125-1000 Pocket Hole Screws January 9, 2007 Fredrick M. Zahn (Simi Valley, CA United States) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
A Good bargain if you plan on building lots of frames using your kreg jig. These screws are made specifically for the Kreg jig tool. It's hard to find these screws locally or they come in small bags or multi size packs. This is the size I use the most so I stocked up.
