Once you start using the Pocket-Hole systems, you will settle into the sizes you use most. This kit is a great assortment to get you started and then a good storage place for the screws later. Once you settle on the size or sizes you use most, you can buy them in bulk and store enough "project sized quantities" in this case while you're working. Besides, you never know when you might need that one or two different sizes in a project.

I got the set as a starter set for the K3 Master Hole Jig System that I purchased at the same time. The set seems to fit the bill exactly as I had expected. There is an obvious oil treatment on the screws as it has completely soaked the description lab on the inside of the lid. I think I will be cleaning/wiping the screw before use but I suppose that is better than having them rust before I can use them. From here I will just refill this set as needed or add different screws as needed. I do like the case as it is a very good way to carry the very sharp screw.

This kit allows you to have a small selection of size and type of pocket screws to start off with in your building projects. If you know that you never use hardwood then do not purchase. Personal, I do plan to build with hardwood in future so this is a good start to have before ordering more fine screws.

What a system...a nice variety of screws for repairs and projects around the house.
You're probably thinking these are a lot of money for just screws...infact you may even be able to waste a bunch of time and find silimar somewhere...good luck. For the money I know what I'm getting and they work! I was surprised...and I am hard to please.

I pulled it out of the box, read the instructions, and was building a workbench for my wife in 5 minutes. The results look professional. The grip is great, you really don't need glue which makes it easy to disassemble if you want to move a large piece. The driver works well. It's very versitile. You don't necessarily have to follow the depth guide. I've experimented and found many ways to use this tool. I'm looking at the more complex furniture that I shied away from before.
