Product Description Its now easy to achieve perfect pre-set stops or set your saw for any angle in between. Tired of leaning over trying to "see light" between a square and your table saw blade to get exact 90 or 45 degree cuts? Need 22.5 degrees for that curio cabinet corner? Now its easy to achieve perfect pre-set stops or set your saw for any angle in between. Set the Wixey Digital Angle Gauge on your table saw top, close to the blade, and push the zero button, then attach it to your blade with the built in magnets. Simply adjust your blade until the desired angle appears on the easy-to-read digital display. Display is in 0.1 degree increments. Count on the Wixey Digital Angle Gauge to give you accurate angle settings every time.

Great Accurate Tool March 15, 2008 Rawdawg (Orlando,FL) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a well appreciated addition to my shop. It allows making beveled cuts repeatable to a tenth of a degree.
I was going to purchase an Incra square and probably still will for setting up my 90's on tools and instead decided to go with this first. This accomplished the task just as well. They both have their place because each can do things the other can not. This is an absolute ease to use and allows setting up any bevel angle accurately.
Combine with a dead on square and this tool will allow your shop repeatable accuracy in fractional degrees.
I got mine cheaper at Rockler even with shipping.
Great aid for a perfectionist May 9, 2008 Michael Sandman (Brookline, MA United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
The Wixey angle gauge is the perfect device for setting up a table saw or similar stationary tool. If you use a good right angle square you can probably set a tool to a 90 degrees +/- 1.0 or even 0.5 degrees. With the Wixey you can get to +/- 0.1, and if you're just a bit of a nut like me that's a good thing. If you're trying to set the 45 degree stop for a table saw or set an angle for cutting crown molding or some other odd angle, the Wixey can't be beat.
Apart from setting up tools when they're new or being checked, it helps you set up jigs, drill bit angles, etc. You can even measure how accurate your right angle squares are. It's easy to zero and easy to use. One odd bit in the design is that the orientation sensor doesn't shut off completely even when the display is off. So the battery apparently has about a 6 month life. But it's easy enough to take the battery out, tape it to the gauge and reinstall it only when you're using the gauge. And Wixey gives you two batteries with the gauge - one already installed and a spare in an unopened package. (They do the same with the height gauage).
Measurements appear to be repeatable to +/- 0.1 degree accuracy. The display was easy to read in my well lit workshop, but I don't know how well it would work in sunlight. There's a competing product made by Beal that's similar.
Wixey Digital angle gauge February 19, 2008 Bonnie Ignash 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I highly recommend this as it worked perfectly. Nice and compact and very consistant. I use it mainly on my table saw for insuring perfect angles and on automotive work "setting pinion angles"
No more guesswork April 24, 2009 Eric P. Henderson (South Bend, IN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great gadget. Comes with two batteries (but it only needs one at a time). Set up is easy. I use it on my table saw and miter saw.
Turn on the Wixey WR300 Digital Angle Gauge .
Put it on the table.
Press the zero button if the angle it is reading is anything but 0.0.
Put it on the blade.
Adjust the blade to the desired angle.
Very easy.
Presumably very accurate.
I would highly recommend it.
A millions uses once you have one! August 18, 2009 LithKnight (Stamford, CT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As everyone else has said, this device is well made, easy to use, and accurate to 0.1 degrees.
What I was not prepared for is how many uses it has. I have used it to set angles on my tables saw, band saw, drill press, miter saw, jointer fence, and even the table on my disc sander.
You can also use it to set the angle on your miter gauges. Just mount the gauge to some surface (I clamp it to a door jamb). Stick it to the runner, zero it, then stick it to the other piece of the gauge. You can set any angle accurately.
With the zero function, it does not matter if your floor or tool are level. This thing measure relative angles.
I wish I had bought one sooner.
